Of course we all have a good midfield, but I want to know which teams have the best midfield. Not for the Rover and Ruck Rover to be included though. Im talking about the Leagues best two players together for ruck and center. They both run around together, and are always closely posisioned amoungst one another, so which team has the best ruck and center duo?
Only 10 options were aloud, so I nominated (in my opinion) the top 10 in the league.

If your description is what is actually meant, rather than the title, then it should be Primus and Francou, not Carr.

Carr quite often isn't next to Primus, as he's playing centre on his opponent, whereas the rucks are more mobile around the ground.

As for the best of the lot? Of the ones named, Everitt/Harvey could be good, I guess.

Xie - You should take into consideration the all players in the centre square. ie.

Adelaide: Clarke, Riccuito, Goodwin, McLeod
Port: Primus, Francou, N Steven, Carr
Brisbane: McDonald, Voss, Black, Akermanis
Essendon: Salmon, Misiti, Blumfield, J Johnson
Hawthorn: Rehn, Chick, Crawford, Harford
Kangaroos: Porter, Stevens, Grant, Harvey
Bulldogs: Darcy, West, Dimmatina, Libba
Sydney: Ball, Cresswell, Kelly, Bolton
Carlton: Allan, Ratten, Hulme, Camporeale
St Kilda: Capuano (Everitt inj), Harvey, Black, Thompson
Richmond: Stafford (Ottens fwd), Campbell, Sziller, King
Melbourne: White, Woewoden, Powell, Leoncelli
Collingwood: McKee, Buckley, O'Bree, Steinfort
Geelong: King, Kilpatrick, Riccardi, Corey (no Buddha)
West Coast: Gardiner, Cousins, Banfield, Kerr
Freo: Longmuir, Bell, Bell, Bell

Not much between the best midfields, but based on clearances last year, the Crows were rated no. 1. With Roo now over his injuries, I reckon the Crows will be up there again.

Xie???? Wheres Gardiner/Cousins??? Hear it at least 5 or 6 times per game, Gardiner straight down to Cousins...they always feeding off eachother. Cant believe there not in the poll.

At full fitness, it's hard to go past Everitt/Harvey. While Thompson/Chick isn't the best, they have a habit of combining very well at the end of a close match or completely bursting a game open in a short period of time.

The Hitman

This is a tough one. I couldn't say McDonald/Voss as only Voss is the real player. Based on performances last year my vote went with Allen/Ratten.

We cant exactly say on the Roos (Porter and Stevens) as Porter only came to us this year- and Stevens hasnt been able to play yet- coz of injury...

Go Roos
