KFC Vs Hungry Jacks Vs McDonalds

What do you prefer to eat out of these 3?

How often do you buy take away? Personally I would probably once every 3 weeks, although I know people that buy it every bloody day almost and it sickens me.

I prefer Hungry Jacks, but they're non-existent in Japan (or at least Nagoya).

The Japanese hamburger franchise Mos Burger is pretty sweet though. They make your burger fresh after ordering. It takes a few minutes, but it's worth it.

I visit Maccas a couple of times a month when I wanna break from Japanese food and my own cooking. They also make your burgers fresh, which I think is happening in Australia now?

WHo's voting for KFC it is absolutely disgraceful.

Everything ont he menu is deep fried and always under cooked, its meant to be crunchy not soggy. Not to mentiont he fact you are straight ont he toilet afterwards.

Not toasted but you'll have salt and pepper...

I'd make it wheat bread, and change the fillings to all salad except for onion and change the meat up... but I always mix it up depending on how I feel for the meat.

Each to their own, I could eat either, but my fave is HJ's.

KFC way too expensive, Maccas wins on cheapness. HJ just in the middle.

You just can't buy a better burger than a Whopper, at least not at any of the other joints listed. Your local Burger or fish shop goes close but nahh too good.

Used to love the KFC, but way too expensive these days. I could swear last summer they still had Twister combos for $5 with vouchers, now they're $8 with vouchers :s

Nowadays I have Hungry Jacks every couple of weekends when I'm hungover (works a treat). Easily the best burgers and overall the food just seems a bit less scummy then Maccas (probably depends on the restaurant though).

In reality a good local fish and chip shop shits all over any of the chains though.

Kentucky Fried Chicken is absolutley delicious. The Colonel is an absolute genious. Mmmmmm 11 herbs and spices.

as an employee of kfc i vote macca's.
as for it being undercooked and too greasy i cook the food there so i'll take that as an insult.
but if you want to know any of the herbs and spices just ask away

Not a huge fan of these three, but sometimes you can't help but get them. Here's my take -

The Colonel can be delicious, but it's way too inconsistent. If I ever get it (very rarely) I'll get the ultimate burger combo. On the odd occasion everything is absolutely spot on - the piece of chicken is nice and crispy, chips piping hot with plenty of salt, potato and gravy very tasty with plenty of gravy and the burger fresh with a tender, juicy fillet. Then to wash it down the bottle of Solo is as refreshing as an ice cold frothy on a hot day.

Hardly ever the case though. Most of the time the chips are soggy and flavourless, no taste in the P&G (with way too much fake potato and hardly any gravy), chicken is soggy and the burger is like cardboard with cardboard for the buns. Then the drink is flat and warm.

The only reason I ever go back is because I think I might hit the jackpot and get a meal not unlike the one in the first paragraph. Every now and then one or two of the items might be up to scratch.

Probably have McDonalds least out of the three. Main reason that I go there is if I'm starting really early and have to drive a fair way for work. Then I'll just get an espresso coffee and a Deluxe Brekky Roll. The only thing off-putting about the roll is the price. Apart from that, if it's got plenty of the tomato relish on it, it's one of the nicest things to come out of all three joints in my opinion. Coffee is always shit, but it's convenient though (not having to get out of the car). I don't think that I ever get anything else from there (might throw in a cheese burger every now and then) besides those two things of a chocolate sundae if I have a hankering for one.

Favourite is Hungry Jacks by far. Whoppers are unreal, Bacon Deluxe burgers can be amazing (providing they have enough mayo), their cheese burgers crap all over the McDonalds ones. Love the Stunner Deals too. The Storms are a great way to finish off a meal!

Obviously there's better food out there, but each offers some good stuff in my opinion.

Same order for me as the above post. Don't really eat from them too often but every once in a while I don't mind pigging out. Usually get the twister or zinger from kfc, just makes it feel a little healthier having the chicken surrounded by something else rather than in plain pieces.

Used to do KFC but its not worth it when you only get a decent quality meal every 3 times you go. You'll either get dud chicken, soggy chips or just overall crap.


Mcdonalds only for chicken nuggets.
