Down at Auskick in Coorparoo(Brisbane) for the intro session this morning and there must have been over 200 kids here.
The bloke in charge said this Auskick centre is the third biggest in the whole of Australia, with Morningside(the next one over) being #2.
When registering a couple of weeks ago, there were numerous Auskick centres within Brisbane, so it's not as though there's only a few, with kids from all over crammed in.
This is seriously impressive. Having lived opposite the Gabba for a number of years(recently moved up the road), I've seen the level of support the Lions get on matchday. This level of junior participation will only serve to grow the game even further in QLD.
