I'm calling it.

The composure, the skills, the efficiency, the X-factor, the hard work. He has all the right traits to become an elite AFL football and is well on his way. Break out season last year, and just looking that level better so far in 2014. Will become elite in a couple of seasons at this rate!

Will be the best of LeCras and Medhurst rolled into one player at this rate. Have to admit though, I think he still has a fair way to go with his field kicking. Some of the work he did in the back half was heart in mouth stuff.

But the thing I love is that he has match winner written all over him. He's so composed and cool under pressure, has ice in his veins and can have an impact all over the ground.

Some of his work getting back and helping out deep in the back line was as awesome as any of his offensive stuff today.

Fantastic work

Yep, now hes working hard defensively he is already elite imo. At least at this moment in time, over the last 5 rounds he's up there with the best small forwards going around.. Loved his game today.. just worked hard and had an impact in such a high intensity game. I was worried he was going to be a bit of a show boat forward but he's definitely proving me wrong. Love how he's bobbing up in the back pocket now to help out the defense!

Start of last season on AFL 360, Robinson asked Whately who he was most looking forward to after the preseason. He said Elliott as he had all the skills to become a superstar.

Jet and still not close to peaking.

Can be a match-winner or a coach-killer depending on the day. Has all the skills, x-factor and attributes - just needs to smarten up a bit and make better decisions.

Elliot is a player I really like, has sublime skills, knows where to run and how to get in good spots, kicks goals, was also really important drifting deep into defense in the last. Think he is already one of the best HFF'ers currently playing.

On comparisons, I would’ve said he looks like a quicker Chapman to a degree. He definitely has Medhurst about him.

He’s covering a truckload of ground at the moment, and I love his endeavour about him. Never gives in.

Not sure if a HFF/Forward pocket can be "elite"? Would definitely need to add some midfield rotation to his game to ever make it to elite level IMO.

He's a good player right now and hopefully will be a 150 game player for us. Go pies!
