Serious question, this is (unless I'm mistaken) the first time we've ever had the #1 pick in the PSD, so what is it's value if we're not using it on uncontracted players in place of a pick in the second round that we could use on someone who could play 150+ games for us?

I get the 'dog act' argument, don't need it re-explained, but if you literally get the first pick of all the players who aren't contracted to an AFL club, is there a better option out there we would rather hold onto it for? Are we keeping it in our back pocket for a rainy day?

Also PSD or no PSD, I don't think GWS are going to be happy with pick 29 for someone who went as early as he did 2 years ago. Tipping a lot more people on this board will be open to the PSD option in 3-4 weeks.
