We’ve all heard the news through the year. Already a generational play, all clubs seemed to have inquired about trading up to get him, he’s already gotten a medal…

Good player no doubt, but with the noise they have been making, surely it ends in SOS or Judd levels of denial to cover up he was not the second coming of Mathews.

I think Daicos is going to be - but do agree that Husband of Jo was overrated. HoJ was an astute list manager, though.

People say to me that Steve had my measure, a lot of people have. But Stephen never played on me until I was 32 and over. If he had played on me when I was in my prime on a forward flank they would have had to put a miner's light on him because he would have still been out there looking for me at 10 o'clock that night.
