I'd hope we wouldn't let him go for a 3rd. Worth more to us than that. I'd be surprised if we hadn't offered him a contract.
That said, he might not want to stay. Reckon Dogs would want him to play half back with the retirements and will probably look good there.

Would prefer Croz and 40 for 26
I'd say it'll be towards the back end of the trade period when we have sorted out Stringer. We've got limited list spots (5 if we delist Honeychurch and trade Stringer, with only Crameri then OOC), but are bringing in Trengove, so we may look to bring him in as the theoretical steak knives to the Stringer deal. I can see us rotating him and JJ forward and back like we did with Murphy and JJ this year. Is he a decent playmaker?

Hasn't really had much chance to be a playmaker under Lyon but he is a beautiful kick and pretty quick.
SOLD! He actually sounds like exactly what he need to be honest. Hopefully we can find list spots and get it done.
I don't mind Crozier seems a flash player that seems restricted by Ross's dour game style. Crozier & Balic for pick 31 and a future 2nd/Kade Stewart.

Would rather keep but that is a fair (possibly overs in our favour) deal if they are going. I mean 31 + 2018 2nd. Not interested in Stewart.

It's not like we are trading him because he's useless. We are trying to trade back in to the 2nd round. If he's only worth a pick upgrade we'll just keep him.
Well I know hes not useless or I wouldnt want my club going near him. But a second round pick is a bit over the top dont you think? And maybe HE wants to leave, so therefore you guys would let him go, but it also could be the club pushing him out to get in the second round like you say, but I wish them all the luck in the world to get a second round pick for Hayden Crozier

Knowing us we'll pay a 2nd round pick, but for once, id actually be ok with that, seeing as this years draft is just poo. Would be good if we could get another pick inside 30 though. 9 plus whatever we get for Stringer and a late pick to do a rookie upgrade.

yes pretty rediculous. He would be in most clubs best 18 little own 22 incuding ours. His best is ahead as well. Most want to keep him including me but if he wants to go then good luck to him given we have several to probaly cover the gap he would leave. Dave Lister suggests Croz and 40 for Doggies 26 but that really only values him at 48. he's much better than that. I think croz and 55 for 26 closer to the mark values him at about 35. He's worth that for sure but maybe not in terms of Bulldogs needing to offer anything.

Yeah it's a tough one with fringe players, if they want to go it can at times be tough to get market value. We lost Hrovat and Stevens for literally nothing last year, but we tend to trade fair so I can see you getting an okay pick upgrade worst case scenario. I would suggest it comes down to what we get for stringer, as well only have a few spots on our list so could end up with some surplus picks we can work with.
