Why is this deemed a legitimate discussion yet asking the same question regarding Western Bulldogs and St Kilda is not?
Just guessing, but probably because nobody cares whether Dogs and Saints exist?

Can't remember the last time I turned on to watch either of those clubs, but I do for most others with some frequency. This year I found Carlton, Swans & Pies a good watch.

I often turned on North - just to see how much they were getting beaten by!

Memberships is a daft way to compare when Adelaide Oval has a capacity that is nearly half the MCG - alot more room for Hawks to sell more memberships than Adel

Hawks membership stands to take a hit if/when they’re exited from Tassie.
An extended stay in the bowels of the ladder won’t help matters either with a notoriously flaky membership …

So notoriously flakey that the Hawthorn membership record has been broken in something like 11 of the last 13 years. 😂

'Notoriously flaky' is a complete falsehood. Excluding the 2 COVID affected years (2020/2021), Hawthorn have broken their membership record every year for 16 years.

We've also remained in the top handful of clubs for membership basically every year since the members saved the club from a merger in late 1996, with arguably the best supporter to member conversion rate in the AFL.

Compared to Carlton for example, Hawthorn undoubtedly has fewer supporters than Carlton yet has drawn members than Carlton in 13 of the last 15 years. Not by small margins either. Hawthorn has attracted upwards of 20-25K more members than Carlton year in, year out. Carlton have had 10K more members than Hawthorn once in their entire history and that was during COVID.

Edit: Beaten by SYL

Inevitable membership hit if/when Tassie arrive on the scene.
An extended period as a cellar dweller and the accompanying Sunday afternoon fixtures won’t help either …
Have you got your fingers crossed?

The loss of Tasmanian membership and sponsorship coinciding with an extended period as a cellar dweller isn’t ideal.
Granted, the hawks appear finally rid of the poisonous Kennett, though his late night tweeting and off field instability have likely damaged the Dingley funding which remains largely an artists impression …

Yes, leaving Tasssie will likely have an impact (at least short term) on memberships (not high value memberships but members nonetheless).

We have the money for Dingley regardless and construction is already underway.

You’re continuing to show that your understanding of the Dingley project and Hawthorn in general is significantly lacking or perhaps just by design to troll, and the barbs you add in do nothing to help that perception.

What a massively random comparison. Crows would be significantly more as supporters are over 600k
