Realistically down to the Eagles and the only two clubs with the draft picks that could satisfy the Eagles for a contracted Harley Reid, Essendon and Richmond.

2 good draft years with a couple of priority picks thrown in and we should be heading back up the ladder but the one thing I will say about the current squad is they need to treat every contest as if their life depended on it, show an intensity level that the AFL demands and win the friggin ball from contest. Just those 2 things can be done with the current list without too much tweaking and they will improve out of sight.

The WC team just had the lowest contested possessions ever recorded. To turn it around they have to come back from the furtherest possible place.

The Big Birds are a great Club, incredibly well resourced with a terrific history.

Flying to 'Asia' every 2nd week is fair impost to overcome and they have done well since inception.

Just Regarding the offer/s the eagles have made to Harley Reid
The media have made out like is a amazing offer and Harley really will be tempted but he would get similar offers from just about any team that has the salary cap space next year so i really see no incentive for him to even consider signing this year. They should have upped it to $2 mil a year for 5 years.

The eagles could easily pay out 70% of the total contract in year 1

I asked who will be able to offer three first round picks. You're answer "the other team will work it out" is just a lazy response. If your list management sees it the same way as you, he'll be going for one first round pick, rather than two.

Demons would be the other one. Once Petracca, Kozzie, Oliver are gone that’s a huge amount of assets plus money left over

So apart from Essendon (which of course he just many not want to go there), Melbourne, possibly the worst team in the AFL other than Eagles. And he's going to leave the Eagles and go to them minus Pertacca and Pickett. Why would he do that?

To be in Melbourne at a team who can afford his salary. Hawks and Geelong would see him taking an insane paycut. Hawks can’t even afford James Worpel, never mind Harley’s 2 mill

Better than one is still laughable. Amiss & JVR have both kicked 4 & 3 times the goals that Williams has. Not 4 or 3 more goals, 4 & 3 times the amount.

Its like me saying Freo’s Simpson will be a better midfielder than Harley Reid and you’ll have to look him up first.

Currently playing better than both, in a far worse team.

IMHO theyd get in Harleys ear and offer him AFL ambassador money to stay with us which he will accept.

I severely doubt the AFL wont cook the books when it comes to this trade. They will be a big part of how this works out
