Just an idea since a Harley looks underdone, why not try playing him as a third tall forward and
Akin to what Danger or De Goey do, just play up forward for majority of the game and terrorise rebounding defenders.
Contest, apply pressure and kick goals. Then go into the middle to give bursts of contested footy.

Once he builds his tank up again you can play him midfield full time.

I agree, play up forward. But if he was unfit upon returning to eagles, why didn't they make him fit.
Or did the headknock prevent them building his training up to the required level?

it depends if you think 12 clangers from 19 disposals is playing well. He is now second in the league for clangers. He's unfit and he's struggling to mentally lock in. value is taking a pounding unfortunately.

they have many guys like Will Day who are going to demand mega contracts shortly. Dont see how they sign Battle, Barrass etc, than give everyone their contracts + sign Reid.

They recruit a few oompa loompas and win a few games and fall out of finals early after being bottom of the ladder for 8 years. Nobody put any time into analysing them because they didn't know they needed to. Now apparently their the best team in the comp and everyone wants to go there.

Just give us Yeo back at least and he will improve. Maybe portion control his dinner for a few weeks as well.

Are battle, Barass front loaded contracts?
It might help that most of the hawks aren't top 10 picks who rightly or wrongly seem to get a bit extra $ wise.
