Hey guys,

I'm new to the gym and don't do a lot of lifting. I'm looking for something that has a decent amount of protein in it.

Would this do the trick? It's the new Recovery drink from Gatorade...

Are you taking it as a supplement to help build muscle?

If so, i wouldn't think so.

8g of protein is nothing, better to just get some whey.

If you're not lifting much then... i dont know why you'd want this drink for such a small extra amount of protein. I presume you're doing mostly cardio, why not just drink water instead of a sugary drink?

This is a great product btw! About time we had some protein drinks that aren't based on dairy.
You mean like powders based on soy or rice like the vast majority of online supplement companies sell?

It might give you an insulin spike to help those hearty 8 grams of protein make their way into the muscles.

Looks like each drink is two servings so double the protein and carbs if you drink the lot. Seems weird that they don't mention the amino acid blend - does that mean poor quality?

Better than drinking nothing I guess, there are far better options though, that are far cheaper - A scoop of BCAA's, glutamine and a couple of scoops of dextrose for example.

Better off saving your money and drinking 600mL of Milk. At least you'll get about 20 grams of protein.

All these energy and electrolyte drinks are just pure crap. For them to have any benefit to your body you need a lot before during and after training. Even on sports stars the benefits are very very marginal, just really great marketing. Just drink water instead.

Guys, the aim of this drink isn't to give your body minerals and shit its to REHYDRATE.

Milk is actually favourable to water when it comes to rehydrating. Why? Because of the protien it has in it. The G6 series is about bringing that advantage of milk to a non dairy product, also helping it to get a hand over the competition.

Hey, the marketing does work on some
