Foxtel Tv Guide music.

Was flicking around the channels.... noticed some kickass songs being played in the background of the TV guide... such as "Little fluffy Clouds" by the Orb and "Midnight in a Perfect World" by DJ Shadow.

Maybe I have crossed the borderline from interesting ambient electronic to elevator music... or does the person who puts this background music in just have really good tastes?

I only got Foxtel last Friday. I have been thinking the music was pretty cool on the TV guide but did not recognise any songs until this morning and they were playing Sao Paulo by Morcheeba. Great song.

I've been noticing this for quite a while. The person responsible has exceptional taste in music and makes the mundane task of looking for programmes quite enjoyable.

Actually this is probably a good spot to ask if anyone knows one song that I'm after. They played it once when I had the guide up and I tried Shazam but it didn't register. If people have a long memory, they might remember that sort of like "world song" that SBS used to play. Some of the scenes would be from all over the world, people in Mexico jumping off large cliffs, kids in Africa swimming in lakes etc. The end of the clip had an old lady walking along the screen, and the setting wash the waves crashing into the sky.

Any help would be amazing haha.
