I rekon Brittan down at the blues will be under the pump. He should be looking over his shoulder to see if Elliot is looking to bring in PARKIN I mean he has a history of doing it before

Actually I stareted this thread as a bit of a joke, I loved powermads line.
But Watson surley would have to go after todays performance? Geez its almost like they dont WANT to be in the league anymore are the match committee serious if they stick with him.
One thing is for sure thats the last time im tipping the mogrels this year.

After watching us disintegrate before my very eyes once again, I honestly do not think sacking Watson will make one bit of difference. I mean, regardless of what happens, we will always have smart alecs like Power Mad constantly referring to our history of sacking coaches while if we don't, people like Grendel will claim that we are mad by not sacking him.

We were 5 goals in front at half time and once again just stopped. Obviously the players were following a specific game plan that was working well in the first half. In my opinion the players have just lost all self-confidence and I don't think Tim can be blamed for this. The players alone are responsible for doing the team things such as tackling and chasing. We have more depth at the club than we have had for quite a few years and all I hope is that we continue to reward the youngsters playing so well in the VFL and drop some of the constantly under-achieving players with the big reputations.

Power Mad, I have to say that you are exactly right about the umpiring not improving.

I'm not using them as an excuse for our performance because we were winning easily at half time despite receiving only 5 or 6 frees for the half. What I am so angry about is their consistency. Time and time again, we were caught for holding the ball for diving on the ball and dragging it back in, yet on countless occasions they were called a bounce when they had the ball.

Anyway, the two most influential people on the ground were the two number 11's. Not Gavin Michell but Joel Bowden and Umpire McLaren.

I may still be a little hot on the collar at the moment.

Why disappoint when you could uphold a glorious tradition and sack Timmy. You mightn't like but we all would love it.
