My club is 150 and free for 16s and 18s showing our club is trying to get players In an area that can’t get the same age players to field cricket teams

25 players and counting on the edfl site and that’s not including nayef and Petrone who are announced elsewhere. The issue isn’t money either cause Dennis is still there…Don’t even see how they field a reserves since it seems the whole senior side walked, genuine question what happens if they can’t field a reserves ?

B Grade premiership in 1968 was followed by it’s first A-Grade premiership in 1973 and again in the years 1985, 1988, three in a row 1995, 1996, 1997, and back to back in 2000 and 2001. In more recent years, Keilor FC triumphed over previously undefeated Greenvale to win the 2008 A-Grade Premiership at Windy Hill. This day also saw our Reserves win the premiership, defeating West Coburg and our U18 side falling short – A feat which saw all 3 sides appear on Grand Final Day!

Alright calm down swooping time, cute article but The Whisp is about to cut you down to size.

Deer park joined the EDFL in 2023, having heath Scotland at the helm. You won the Div 1 flag (very cute) but it doesn’t add up to a premier flag. You ran Scotland out of the club and instead went to sign Majak Daw as a big money signing which shot you in the foot heavily. Congratulations on the signings but it only takes a price tag bigger than yours to lose them.

Have a go at Keilor for all you want, their culture allows them to attain players recruited and to build forward. You have 0 juniors coming through outside of a division 2 under 16s side. Deer Park buying these players is like filling a pot hole with a blanket. Yes the pot hole is gone but it’s only a matter of time before it returns.

Have you not seen what happened to East Keilor? You’re on the same trajectory and for your information, my main connection is with the Strathmore football club while having a strong friendship with Mick.
