Simple question, you can answer with any reason given, whether it's cost, premiership chances increase etc.

For the record, I say Yes, but I would add that I don't want to see any player who is of vital importance to us traded.

Please Collingwood.... Please!!!!

This is the difference between us winning or losing the '10 flag!

Yes. It's time to stop pussyfooting around and get serious about winning the next Premiership. There is a double coleman medallist on the market, they do not come around often, time to put the money where our mouths are.

Not if they play hard ball.

Nothing more than our second round pick and a player.

If we give up our first round and a dawes for example we will be in trouble in 2-3 years time when Fev is finished and we are in the same situation we are in now.

Im more for the develop your own talent. Be patient and success will follow.

Mate.... we could be pushing for a flag in 2-3 years time. What's the point of continuously developing when we have a prime opportunity to win a flag now.

Fevola, Charman and another backmen and we are set!!! :):thumbsu:

I here you favs.

I agree with much of what you have said.

However, our 2nd pick won't be enough.

I would offer up our first round pick only to test the waters.

We are not in a position to butcher our young list.

Malthouse is also on record saying we will not compromise the list and we want to build and keep it together to grow. However, this requires patience- something some Magpie faithful don't currently have.

1 thing that is without doubt...

if we get him, we must win a flag

If we get him and he retires without a premiership then it is an epic fail.

if we get him and we win a flag then it is a successful trade, regardless of who or what we give up.

i guess that's the punt you gotta take to taste success...

Agreed. When we lost the prelim this board was filled with disappointed people who say we need to make some hard choices next season. A golden opportunity like this comes up and suddenly those same people get cold feet.

No, he's too stupid to change his ways & we don't need his behaviour at the Pies. We have enough off field trouble as it is. Someone like Fev will only bring greater opportunities for trouble & even more intense media scrutiny.

No! 29 years old. Mental problems. etc.

He doesnt have mental problems, he has alcohol problems, big difference.

Problem with Fev at Collingwood is if he wipes his nose and litters the tissue, it would be front page news. (well you get the idea).

There would be a TV crew following Fev around 24 hours a day if he comes to us, pretty hard for an alcoholic to contend with.

We've already got some midfield issues with 'going missing' during matches. You don't want that happening at FF as well

That said, I'd be pretty sure Bucks and Mick could enforce a little discipline with him.

Has mental problems, drink or no drink.
