Here goes Tulane...the home loosely resembles the Crows...if you melted their stripes in a microwave. Tulane's 80s logo was basically two of these stripes on top of a T, representing the wave, so I basically just took them off of that. Staying green, the clash is mint green with the angry wave front and center. For the third, I was kinda going for an abstract representation of a wave.

And we got Oklahoma State...I felt a St. Kilda tribute fit them well several years ago, and still feel that way. Main difference is I went with an orange back because I wanted the clash to be black. Fit the Phantom Pete aesthetic pretty well, I think (Oklahoma State's cowboy is named Pistol Pete, and was based on an actual person...and then they went and made a shadowed, demonic eye version). Dipped back into the Saints well for the vintage jumper.

Back again for the very fourth time, posting an Auburn set. The somewhat unusual spacing of the home's stripes is because I'd initially had five stripes, but felt it ended up a bit too orange. The clash's shadow stripes kept the striping I'd originally had on the whites, since this doesn't put the whole look as out of whack. You may be wondering why the shorts have an eagle silhouette if they're the Tigers...basically, an eagle flew above the field at the tail end of Auburn's first football game against Georgia, and the fans started chanting War Eagle as AU marched down the field for the winning score. The battle cry persists to this day, and Auburn occasionally has a tertiary war eagle logo floating around somewhere. The third jumper here uses the 70s war eagle for the hell of it.

Syracuse is here too. I was going to use a Swans style design for the home jumper, but settled on Fitzroy style instead because the dome and V shapes might not have worked well together. The clash was modeled after the New York Rangers, and I threw in a throwback style with printed laces for good measure. The S on the laced jumper is slightly warped, as I was going for the illusion of the guernseys being laced up good and tight.

Been a few months, getting back in the saddle for who knows how long. Oh well, I'm here for the moment...and I start off with an institution I've loathed for basically my entire life. I should've included a blown up portion of the lower stripe, which is a Trojan style trim that, upon a close inspection, is a repeating USC, which is also used on the collar and cuffs.

Onto a college I don't feel any particular way about, Idaho...

Lastly for now, Purdue

Damn, been over a year since the last time I posted...oh well, here we go...first, my uncle's alma mater and former workplace, Western Illinois...no real story on the striping I chose for the home and clash other than liking it, while the inclusion of red on the second purple jumper alludes to the US Marines, who allow WIU to use the Leathernecks nickname and bulldog mascot, as well as a variant of their Eagle-Globe-Anchor emblem.

Secondly, Boise State...the home is basically solid blue, the clash gets a penguin stripe. The third, I liked how the Idaho outline looked and based the striping off of that.

Lastly for now, Tennessee-Martin...Figured a Melbourne-type look would work well for the first choice, the clash's horizontal pinstripes are meant to allude to clouds without being too literal, and I might have been thinking about Top Gun when I added the sunset striping to the third jumper.
