Maybe tell Caroline Overington and Bill Speddng's friend to get their facts right, if you feel they are wrong.  I gave the sources.

I know the FM called Bill Spedding in the morning.  

The dates that Geoff Owen wanted to do the job and was going for surgery come directly from inquest evidence.  He had called the house twice on the 11th, and on the morning of the 12th.  Yes, unanswered on the 12th.

Not going to argue with you, that is my understanding from multiple sources.
