After reviewing several applications from Captains and former Captains in the SFA it was announced today that 280 game, 6 x ALL-SFA, Mobbs and Deestroy medalist and 2 time premiership player philreich was obviously Old Boys worthy and head and shoulders the most impressive candidate of all the applications.

When asked about Phil joining the Old Boys Tigerturbulance stated, "we are very wrapped to have him, philreich has the runs on the boards and is exactly the type of person we want at Spotswood to ensure we keep moving forward and having success both on and off the field. philreich now joins a special group at Spotswood of former Captains who understand what great qooty is and how you need to be at the best to achieve this."

When asked if any more Captains will be recruited Tigerturbulance stated, "after taking the Bombers Captain Pugsley mid season and now the Swamprats Captain we might settle down for a bit. Its time now to wait and see how the current and new Captains perform next season before opening our books again."
