"Jack Viney, Trent Rivers and Caleb Windsor were all cited following the incident in the second quarter of the game, with the Match Review Officer later issuing the fines.

For his second offence, Viney was sanctioned $3,125 but can accept a $1,875 fine, while Rivers and Windsor were each penalised $1,500 ($1,000 with an early plea)."

I reckon the players, especially the defenders, would've felt some relief knowing that they didn't have May and Lever barking at them all day long. If May and Lever played, I personally believe we lose this game. They both would've given 3-4 goals away in dumb frees. So a nice little reminder to them that they don't need their instructions.

Especially from Lever.

What are you basing the 6-8 goals from frees on?

I mean, as a duo. not individually. I feel like May especially has given away some silly frees this season. *I don't have the stats to back this up. lol. But a lot of tugs on the jumper in a contested situation where it's absolutely unnecessary. That happened against Gold Coast. He had Sparrow in support, yet still gave a free away. Lever just always being Lever. That frontal contact free against North just showcase his lack of game sense/IQ.

And I don't think Lever is best 22. His good is elite. His bad is really costly stuff. Even May's dropped mark against Essendon, lost us the game in that moment. As good as both of them have been, their mistakes have been costing us goals this year.
