Getting Kerr is a waste of draft picks we woould have to trade and money we would have to pay him considering we already have a more than decent midfield and are struggling in other areas

Dont ask the source but daniel kerr apparently spent the day at carlton yesterday
Nice. Hope he took time to do some shopping and try one of the fine coffee establishments on Lygon Street.

Word is he went into the Carlton shop and ordered a jumper with the number 5 on it, hoping to get it signed.......he's a big Juddy fan.:thumbsu:

Some may say I'm a hysterical overreactionary... but I think posting some BS rumour with "don't ask me the source" or "a VERY high Carlton official who I can't reveal" or similar should be grounds for an instant week's holiday from BF. Perhaps life. And possible jail time.

I tend to agree. More unwanted threads than a new rug.

Hopefully he spent the day with us, and decided we dont need him.
Sounds like a money hungry greedy prick to me.

I'm pretty pissed off that Judd is trying hard to win over the hearts and ears of those that matter at Carlton, can't Judd see what a tosser the guys off field?

Dont want him. Will be pretty pissed off if we trade pick 6 for this alcoholic agressive twit.

At the end of the day all footballer players/sportsmen and women are in it for the money. After all they have a short life span and they have to put food on the table for their families. But yes AWG we don't need him would rather get a young KPP we have a few small mid's etc at Carlton now.

I'm just not a fan of the quick fix. Would rather our time and effort be invested in getting a younger kid and developing him rightly so that he can offer us top notch stuff on field, and hopefully represent the club well off field too. Just a bit worried about all this kerr talk

I agree, but our track record at doing this is terrible. We did manage to develop Livingstone, Sporne, Vance and Johnston into handy vfl/sanfl players, but i'd take the proven champion any day over that caper.

Replace Simmo with Kerr and we win against Sydney and Adelaide last season and play finals.

This worries me

AWG just a few names to ring a bell about Quick Fixes...

Greg Williams
Earl Spalding
Matthew Clape
Dean Rice
Glenn Manton

all for a quick fix

end result 1995 Premiership = #16 thanks...

Different era, but it's a decent point he makes. I'd like to see us look to state leagues a little bit this year and guys like Todd Grima, Robin Nahas and Ian Callinan maybe in the running for one of the rookie spots.
