The Cameron package wasn't great when you look at it.Melbourne should be targeting a draft bounty that is just shy of the Cameron package, even if it means they have to carry a greater portion of his salary on their books.

They are both very risky.Be careful for what you wish for. Smith is an astute pick up. Oliver very risky but he’s a top 5 mid in the comp at his best
Ridiculous that he could go out on a bender, be hospitalised, then get selected to play the next week and nobody says boo about it…Geelong is perfect for him, look how quickly the Stengle stuff went away. At the pies the attention on him would be huge, dont see it working out well.
I mean when they got a flag out of it I’d call it a successThe Cameron package wasn't great when you look at it.
How much of the first part do you want to put it on Melbourne's culture ? Say whatever you want about his off field issues, he has still contributed at a fair level on field . Can't overlook his b&f winning seasons and the quality of his play back when the club was somewhat settled.Ah yes, the toxic, drug-addled, wall-kicking turnover merchant that was Jeremy Cameron. It’s definitely the same scenario playing out again in front of our eyes.
You mean to tell me when we traded pick 2, Treloar and Stephenson for Oliver Henry, Poulter and McMahon. That was a success?I mean when they got a flag out of it I’d call it a success
Would imagine three first round picks be a decent return. The Cameron package wasn't great when you look at it.
You didn't look at it properly.Would imagine three first round picks be a decent return.

With Oliver apparently saying he wants to be traded to the Cats, the whole thing has become a real mess. It'll make for a fun trade week.Everything you’re saying could also have been said about Dayne Beams.
It certainly appears the club has decided Melbourne’s culture is the effect and Oliver is the cause. Joel Smith’s career is hanging by a thread too for the same reason.
And Geelong will be like, you are pushing him, not the other way around.Melbourne can just as easily turn around and say they will hold onto Oliver because the trade compensation was no where near what they wanted. They are all adults, they will sit down and work out a plan to coexist next year. Whatever happens after that , happens. Poor list management decisions like trading your greatest trade asset for a single pick will cost careers. Fremantle with the draft capital can potentially sell Oliver the opportunity of not being in the Melbourne fishbowl. So Melbourne don't have to trade him to geelong, if they can get other clubs to convince Oliver to select them.
Hanging by a thread? I thought it was over, they’ve delisted him haven’t they?Everything you’re saying could also have been said about Dayne Beams.

Life was better when they had their handbagsAnd typical Geelong w***ers think they have the cure for cancer
JUH is the weakest link of their 3 tallsI hope it isn't. What's he ever done besides running, chasing, groundball gets, contested posessions, score assists, marking,
kicking goals and ruck assists.
And typical Geelong w***ers think they have the cure for cancer
He wouldn’t be on a big contract, why aren’t they retaining him. As has been noted, no guarantee 3rd round draft picks or SSPs will be any better.
I just looked it up. Those 3 1st rounders ended up being picks 15, 18, 25*and a 4thWould imagine three first round picks be a decent return.
That’s what I’m lead to believe
Oh boy. Really? Naughton is way overpaidJUH is the weakest link of their 3 talls
That elimination final effort was shameful
I’d rather Naughton even tho JUH has more ability
Hope Schultz and Perryman dominate next year.
A big F U to the haters.
