I just saw it. Should be 2 weeks because that is just nasty and he kept pushing, but I suspect it will get 1 week.

Absolutely no need for that. Should be a number of weeks. Face down on the ground, if you have one arm just restrained he's not getting rid of it - by chicken winging he's at risk of serious injury for no reason.

I'd say 3-4 weeks, especially to deter it in future. Simply giving him 1 week because Ginnivan was OK isn't enough. Punish the act not the outcome.

It's not a dangerous tackle rule, it's a misconduct rule.

Yes there absolutely is danger in having your shoulder/arm/elbow (whichever part) twisted that way.

On reflection Judd got 4 for dislocating Adams' shoulder.

So while I believe in punishing the act, 2 seems probable based on that.

Isn’t that how we end up with inconsistent tribunal rulings? By all means suspend him if it falls within the actions that warrant it, but make it consistent with other suspensions

Silly to wrench it up like he did, could easily have injured the shoulder. And had him pinned anyway.

Big danger....forced internal rotation, could have easily injured a rotator cuff.

You wrench on the arm like that enough and it'll tear the tendons in the shoulder.

Cyril pinned the arm. He didnt pin the arm then push the hand/wrist up in a dangerous second action.

Thats why he never got charged.
