Yea, I like him, just not down back. I'd swap him with Smith at this point, who seems to be struggling now that he's not across half back.

He works well as that floating half back/flanker rebounder like Radar was, but he is useless deep in defence when he has to go man-on-man.

MacKay must be an out... Wright has had a better month than him.
Lyons or CEY in.
Lever could be sweating for Shaw's inclusion, as Lever could have done better tonight, Hartigan too...
Good to have Shaw putting pressure on those guys to perform.....You would expect Talia to be OK for next week.

I forgot he was playing in the second half. It was during the 4th quarter when he rushed a point, I remembered he was playing.

He did SFA in the second half today.

Did a bit of a look ahead on the AFL's ladder predictor. Geez it is going to be tight. No room for errors. Must win against Suns, Essendon, Lions and probably two from either Richmond, Sydney, Eagles, or Geelong.

But if we do, should get a home final

Cant see Lever being dropped, the kid shows so much potential!

And he did a really poor kick out from the back pocket that barely made it to the 50m mark, and Ebert (I think) got it and they were back in for a score.

Shaw perfect swap for Hendo in my opinion. Hartigan and Lever looking good and will continue to improve. They're especially safe if Talia doesn't get cleared for next week, but looking at him hopefully we won't have to worry.

To be clear - I do not argue with potential. Next year - Lever plays every match.
However, defensively, this year, Shaw might have him covered. I look at trying to get to the second week of finals this year..
If Talia is not spoiling Ryder, who is? Tonight Lever and Hartigan failed at that. Gave PA good confidence and momentum. I believe Shaw could have done better.
As someone else posted, if they replace Henderson with Lever as the attacking option/ loose man (ie- Hendo out, Shaw in), I understand the plan.
(However my personal opinion is we play 6 v 6 every match!)
