The more I think about it the more I'm liking the idea of giving Croft a debut.  He has a bit of swagger and is unlikely to be overawed by the occasion.  He's the sort of versatile player Bevo would love.  Can play traditional forward, wing, high HF, chop out in the ruck or even fill in as a KPD if we lose one of our talls there.  He can intercept or be a third marking tall in attack. And he can run all day.


This versatility could be an excellent counter to any plans the Blues have for Darcy/Naughton (eg blocking, double-teaming).  If Croft bobs up with 2-3 first half marks i50 and starts kicking goals from them, they will have to adjust.  And that will allow us to revert to plan A.
