Glad we've strengthened the side with some quality VFL level players, think it is pretty hard to develop kids if we're getting rolled every week. Still probably a bit too tall up forward (Jefferson/Johnson/Fullarton/Kentfield/Melksham), will be interesting if any of the above outside Melk play a different position.

I agree that 4 KPFs and a medium forward is probably a bit too tall mate. Just a bit. Probably.

I’d put Jefferson on the wing , and I’d give Kentfield a try as a defender . No idea what they will do there this season .

I’m a big believer that a strong VFL/reserves team is important to the development of younger players.

A few solid inside mids will be very helpful to the Casey squad.

They definitely played a practice match. Not sure of anything about other than Tmac playing. Demonland had some info on it but it was hard to decipher what happened. Seems like some posters were taking the piss.

Apparently we played v sandringham. That's all i could find so far .

Bonner is going to be a great recruit. I’m also told by someone at Casey that Caleb Windsor’s brother who played last year looked really good in pre season. Tom Campbell is also going to make them heaps better.

Langford quick long kick that gets rushed through for a behind. Good range with no real wind up.

Looks like Fullarton and Verrall are both starting as forwards.

Adams a key defender unsurprisingly.

That kick from Langford is so annoying. Great ball movement by hands into the corridor has heaps of time and space and just blazes away at goal for a behind. Every other team is hitting up an uncontested mark in that situation.

Adams streaming out from the backline and hits Fullarton on a hard lead who takes a sticky hands mark above his head.

Terrible kick, no score.

Hore and Sestan both playing back.
