Cadbury chocolate blocks

My favourite part of the week's shopping is getting to the chocolate isle to see all the different flavours.

Top 3 for me.

1- Black forest. Perfect mix of nuts and sultanas. Ive been horrified for the last month, My Coles dont stock them anymore. Has Cadbury discontinued the line? Fruit and not is ok, but it's a poor man's black forest.

2- Caramello. It has a great taste for the first half block, then it wears you down and is hard to finish an entire block. Still the connoisseur's choice of Cadbury blocks.

3- Snack. This always felt cheap to me. All the fruity and highly sugary flavours gave it an amateur hour feel. But after being numbed into oblivion by the sameness of Caramello I came to appreciate the subtle diversity of this particular line.

l really liked duo it had milk choc on the bottom and dark choc on top,l can't see it on the shelf 's grrrrrr and cadbury is getting $$$$$$ these days

Black forest, named after the black forest cake, has biscuit pieces and cherry-flavoured jellies in it.

Incidentally, it's listed on the NZ Cadbury website, but not the Australian one (indication of just how boring my work is at the moment that I bothered to check).

im not a big chocolate fan. i like it but i cant eat alot of it at 1 time. for me it would be the white one and caramel, yum, but its a but sweet

Definitley Rocky Road!

Don't see it at a great deal of places but rocky road flavour is by far the best

Jamaican (rum & raison) is the king of dark chocolate bars.

Cannot go past Marble for milk chocolate... reminds me of those amazing chocolate shells made in Belgium.

When I left my part time job, to move to Melbourne for uni my bosses gave me one of those 10KG blocks, awesome stuff

Dairy Milk and Top Deck are my favourites.

Snack is good for when feeling adventurous; but as the op said, perhaps it is not as 'classy' as the other blocks.

Snack is my favourite - although I'm also very partial to Top Deck. The big blocks are on special at the moment at Woolworths, so I've stocked up.

nestle double blend ftw. cadbury is way too sweet. db is a lot smoother and creamier.

WTF is going on with the vegetable fat in the chocolate? I bought a nice big block on the weekend in it's nice new cardboard box and it tasted different then my wife broke the news...devastated !
