There is no compo for such FA. Hugh Greenwood was delisted by Suns with promise he will be picked back.

North jumped in and picked him in FA period. AFAIK Suns didn't get compo for that.

Whole point of compo pick is for clubs who have put effort in developing players( mostly KPP) and to be compensated if they lose them.

Hawks had delisted Seamus Mitchell last yr and picked him back. We are at risk of losing him anytime he is OOC. Are we saying that next time he is OOC we can game the system and ask some team to pay overs for him so we get Band 1 or 2 compo and then send some picks back to the other team.

if so we have a few fringe players in our list like Ned Long, Jai Serong, Bramble, Morrison etc. We should delist them all, pick them back up for 1 yr contract if no other club takes them and then make bank if they show some promise in 2024.
