Two stand out for me:

Booting 7 or 8 against the Swans in a night match at the SCG in about 1991 :thumbsu:

Marking and goaling for North Melbourne in an early season match against the Crows at the MCG in 1996 after a pack of about 30 players misjudged the flight of the bal only for Plain to mark on his chest and kick truly from about 15 on a tight angle :thumbsu:

Hahahahahaha.......funny that. They've apparently been trying to track him down for a 20 year premiership reunion for some Tassie club

Driving through the gates at Windy Hill because they were locked wasn't a bad one.

Dennis Pagan writing "B Plain - Coach Killer" on the whiteboard when coaching Essendon Reserves.

Plain had kicked 6, after not kicking any in the first half, the week after kicking 5 before half time, and none after Half Time.

Inconsistent and injury prone.

He had this habit of licking his fingers after he kicked a goal, and he kicked some damn fine ones.

I used to wonder what happened to him because he had a lot of talent.

A "blast in the past", that's for sure.

Plain had all the ability in the world - and played some many fine games for Essendon as I seem to recall - but his luck plummeted and things only got worse at Collingwood.

What is he up to these days?

Was worse at the North Melbourne, but played in either the 1995 or 1996 reserves premership for North Melbourne or maybe both.
Played for 3 clubs Essendon, Collingwood and North Melbourne

Used to play for North Hobart, played in the '87 Premiership I think.
Was a freak player, could kick some amazing goals but would go missing at times as well, used to smoke a pack a day when he played for North apparently.
Got drafted, went ok for a bit then dropped off the radar so to speak.
Bit of a wasted talent.

haha yes licking his fingers that was a good one he did it religiously pretty much after every goal.

Hi Brad.

Tony Shaw was sporting the "twin set" look before both of them. It looked wrong, like a chimp wearing a string of pearls.

What about some recognition for O'Keefe from Brisbane's ealry days (his first name escapes me)? He almost looked like he was playing in a t-shirt.
