I used to be on the committee, but I got disillusioned with the attitude of fellow committee members. So now I've gone back to just being a silver member.

They were more interested in making money. They weren't interested in what the average supporter wanted, just how they could make money out of them. Also they are against having run through banners & a cheer squad for when the boys play here. I made a banner one year with the help of the Eagles cheer squad. The team loved it, but it upset the committee because I went against their wishes. A lot of people who were members said they stopped being members because no one talked to them at functions, except to ask for money & they don't have enough functions that average people can afford.
