Im young so I have no recollection, but the Windy Hill incident was suppost to be the mother of all brawls.

The best I have seen would have to be the Hawthorn Essendon Brawl, or maybe the Richmond Bulldogs one although the memories of that 1 are beginning to waine.

Unless occuring on big occasions-1984 and 1985? grand final or the facinaty of the brawl is monstorious-Windy Hill incident between Richmond and the Bombers brawls tend to be forgotten after a few years

Just to quiten this - 1990 Grand Final (AFL)

Richie opening up a can was fairly exciting.

For me however, can't go past WCE/Fremantle in 2001 IIRC. That was all out and Michael Gardiner popped young Matthew Pavlich on the tip of the nose a few times.

The legendary Demolition Derby seen as a great day for the Freo faithful
Dale Kickett belting Phil Read with four classic punches
Freo finally had enough

As for greatest brawl try Google Mal Brown v Carlton

Two pearlers right there. Brown's effort with Carlton was awesome.
Windy Hill May 18th 1974 was the fiercest.

Absolutely. Even for those heady days it was top notch.
