I'd absolutely recommend to complete all the stakes, don't stick to white. Once you get a knack for the game and what's possible it is very easy to progress up.

My opinion, get over it."Isn't remotely close to GOTY contention."
Sure
My opinion, get over it.
I'm absolutely stumped trying to clear blue stakes. I've got a few decks up to it but I think I just need to persist and hope that eventually RNGesus blesses me with the right jokers. I thought the checkered deck would be the answer because I can start scaling and smashing straight flushes early but just haven't been able to trim it enough to play them consistently and usually bomb out by antes 7 or 8. That one less discard is a bigger handicap than what it first sounds like as it's pretty hard to dig for your main hand. I know I need to build around a smaller hand but it's just getting the right jokers early enough to begin min/maxing. My closest was with Wee Joker but just fell short. I absolutely love that joker. I smile when I see Wee. Still haven't been able to pair it with Hack yet though.
Rock the yellow deck, always easiest to clear high stakes. Flushes don't scale all that well.
Straight flushes not flushes.
Yellow works so well because cash is king to get setup fast in the early rounds. It's quite doable to beat any stakes with just high card or pair with investment early, and you don't have to worry about drawing cards during a round that way. Keeps you alive longer to make your run with RNG on jokers and tarots.
