Another AFL player in a urination scandal.

HAWTHORN forward Mark Williams was reported in a VFL match yesterday for urinating on the ground.
Williams was booked for misconduct under AFL law 19.2.2, while playing for the Box Hill Hawks at Box Hill City Oval, after relieving himself before the start of the match.
The VFL will decide during the week whether or not Williams will have to face the tribunal or be offered a set penalty.
In round four last season, Williamstown's Danny Stanley was booked for a similar incident while playing for the club's reserves side. He received a severe reprimand but was not suspended.
The report soured an otherwise good day for Williams, who played well across all areas of the ground. The 24-year-old finished with just one goal but played in the back line and the midfield for parts of the match.

If he got his donga out on the field to relieve himself then I think a suspension might be in order, just depends I guess who was around. Lets hope it wasnt infront of a schoolgirls/boys group!

i remember either in the nrl or super 14's one player just pulled out his donga and urinated like a fountain right on the 22 line. it was about a year to 3 years ago. however i doubt any action was taken against him.

I don't think anything will happen but surely the Hawks should fine him 5k or something.

I reckon Fev and Kane Johnson urinating while smashed off their brains is no where near as bad as a guy (assumingly) sober pissing in an official game where its very possible kids and families etc are nearby.

At least Fev and Johnson have some kind of mini-excuse. Hawthorn has to do something to stop themselves becoming the new West Coast Eagles.

Sadly, like WCE, winning probably means look the other way. I wonder if they have taken any action on their other "issues" or certain players getting smashed and throwing their dinner on the floor at an official club function?
