He's an 18 year old kid. If you expect him to win Carlton games off his own foot in that side your delusional. He'll be a pretty good player eventually, if the idiots like Ice goddess don't get to him.

Yes well the superstars tend to show some consistency early. Anyway it's not that he's not getting a lot of it it's some of the awful things he does which is worrying.

some players take longer to develop than others, not everyone is a chris judd who performs from game one. shane tuck is a prime example of someone whos taken a while but its been worth the wait, now he picks up 20 possies a game........
Walker isnt sh*te, he will become a good solid player in due time...

Nobody expects him to win games of his own boot that they don't expect incompetence either. Gosh in his first game no one went near him, he has to prove that he can play good footy when there is some pressure on. He may become a gun but for a #2 pick he has a long way to go.

Tenace will have to improve his kicking if he's to become a superstar, Sylvia will have to improve in a lot of areas. But Walker was pretty much hyped, he hasn't produced much, in fact he looks all at sea at times.

Some people here are so short sighted it isn't funny. Teance, Walker, Sylvia et al need more time to develop, I don't know why everyone is expecting them to be consistent and fire up so soon. It'll be a few more years yet.
Of course there are exceptions, but most kids take time, it's a fact of life. Geez, some of the comments I've read we'd might as well just give up on Walker right now! Yeah, that'd be a smart move.
