AFL Fixture spreadsheet with team lists

I posted this a while back, but I've made some improvements.
Not only is it now formatted so you can print it, and the advertising is taken out, but now it also has the complete team lists, with the players age taken from whatever the date is.
And I've also taken the liberty of correcting the name of the team the AFL calls Kangaroos.

Thanks Mero for something decent.

Compare this to the Excel fixture that has been on the AFL website for the last couple of weeks. Honestly, it took me 10 minutes to find round 2. I finally worked out you had to click on round 1 then scroll down. Talk about amateurs. I looks like it was created by the work experience kid but he didn't get a chance to finish it before his week was up, but they just whacked it up anyway.

This is absolutely brilliant Mero. Well done. I was looking for something like that for a while now.

Just one correction: The Round 4 game North Melb v Melb was moved from the GC to the MCG at 2:10.

Why are North playing any games at the Gold Coast? I thought the AFL wanted to move all Gold Coast games involving North.

And why would North still want to play up there? I can only assume it's a bucket load of money.

So what is the full extent of Gold Coast games this year?

The AFL reduced it from 4 to 3 this year. They couldn’t reschedule the other 3 unfortunately. In 2009 it will be zero!:D

Cheers. But surely the AFL will continue to schedule games up there. I assume they wouldn't play the Lions there, so 1, 2 or 3 Melbourne teams will each have to host a game on the Gold Coast over the next couple of years.

Have you been doing these for a few years?

Have you been doing these for a few years?

2007, 2008 and now 2009.

The AFL one came out with as many mistakes, and wasn't formatted properly.
Plus it had crappy ads all over it.
So I fixed it, and added some stuff I thought was useful.

Absoulutely Brilliant....I owe you about 10 hours of my life. Could not work out a way to get team lists into excel and across to Iphone.

Now all I need is a list that I can keep track of goals, behinds etc on match day.

If you have Excel on your Phone, you could set the team list up in another worksheet.
Then as goals are kicked, you add the player number to a list. Say col k
So in Col K you write 29, 35, as they kick the goals.
Next to the player's name, you have a lookup that adds up all the times in col K that the players number appears, thus giving you the goals.
Or you could look on the scoreboard, which all grounds now have.

PS Of all the things in this spreadsheet, it's the logos on the Club by Club I'm most pleased with. That was a bugger to get right.
