Really they just seem to behave like a lot of supporters on these forums, treating their players and opposition players like commodities instead of people. They think that if they have a good player who wants to leave they should get a good player in return, they don't seem to realise that player is a person and they need to make them want to come to Essendon first.

Ryder isn't really a particularly elite player, I think picks 17 and 37 was well over what he's worth. It's a shame they blew pick 37 on Cooney.

Disco is not the problem. We were sanctioned pretty heavily and have had a few players leave. Having one pick between the first and second round of the draft over two years hurts.
