If you could be farked with all the aggravation, you could try and appeal. Particularly if you claim there was a sign in the area that they hadn't covered with the temporary no parking sign. You could always make the claim even if it's not true, their word against yours. Worth doing if you can find some others to say the same thing (any other BF'ers get caught?). Only thing is that conscience thingy of yours, will it let you sleep at night knowing you cheated the ACC????

Or you could just fork out the dosh, safe in the knowledge that it is going to a good cause - concreting the whole of Victoria Square
