Well shit. One of the smartest players on our list. I always thought if he was 20cm taller and not injury prone he could have been one of the better key forwards of his generation - he is that smart.
 
He's one of few blokes who I would let go when he thinks the time is right, not that I want him to go.

His body has been through hell and back, and if he thinks he's unable to cope with another season despite playing (possibly) career best footy then I have to respect that.

That said, I hope he goes around again.

The bloke has strong business interests outside of footy and has given his all to the club (despite a shocking run with injury).

Maybe he's just had enough - who could blame him.
 
Sad if true but lets hope we can send him off with some success in finals. Also means he could be playing with a nothing to lose attitude.
We could see some of his best footy over the next month or two.
