There's obvious signs of concussion.  That's what the in game tests identify.  If you do a first aid course you'll learn most of them.  I reckon the game time ones are a bit more intensive and administered by a trained dr.  But I dunno if they do eeg tests in the rooms.


They may do them as part of their ongoing H&W monitoring of players.  I guess I'd assume so but I don't know enough about it to really say.  If scans identify acute/short term issues related to concussion then they'd definitely be using them.


In an interview with Romping Wins after he got knocked out Higgo mentioned the way he felt in the week and a half after the game and I'm pretty sure he could identify when he was right and when he wasn't.  Its worth reading if you haven't seen it or have forgotten it.


Its a real worry if they've identified something potentially chronic/long term.
