The Democrats give more of a damn, this is evident in legislation passed, judicial appointments and other administration rulings/acts. But yes, it's not anywhere near enough of a damn.

The claim that things got better under Trump the first time around would make sense, but only if you ignored the trends that were already occurring when Obama left office (post GFC recovery). Trump just didn't do anything to stuff it up. And then Biden went on to beat those employment stats post Covid, and there is somewhat of a manufacturing uptick as well (more than under Trump).

The Dems care about people who fly. That's a LOT of Americans. But perhaps Trump supporters aren't amongst them.

There have been many improvements to regulations since Biden came in, but now the airlines are rubbing their hands/wings in glee, as Trump potentially plans to rescind them.
