A Positive Story Line from the year:

- Both SA teams FINALLY put actions into place to depart from the SANFL and join the VFL in hopes of further pressuring the AFL for a national reserves comp. (Fanciful thinking I know)

Negative Story Line for the year:

- Travis Boak retires prematurely in the middle of the season after recording a career high amount of turnovers.

(I will always love Boak, but he is cooked for 2025)
