If Burgoyne was gonna play HB, I'd happily jump on him even in as a MID only and in the $400k range. He could go bananas playing at half back.

Heard good things about Moraes. Might not be there from rd1, but I think he'll be a downgrade option for us later in the year.

I don't take to much stock in training reports until i see them line up in those positions in pre-season games

They only have 44 or so players for intraclub or match sim so some players have to naturally play out of their position to fill the void

Agreed, but if a player is consistently training in a new position it is of interest. Or if a player is missing a lot of sessions. There is definitely useful information amongst the fangirling from breathless track watchers.

Yep, Laird an example as it changes the mix both in defence and mid

I had Rankine in my first team and somebody posted something which made me trade him straight out. Not sure if the post said he probably won't get the midfield time, or he's limited in the preseason.

If he's fit and getting bulk midfield time, he's a lock at that price.

Urquhart has impressed. Big body. Ready to go. Not sure on role but very impressive

It would be Rankine vs JHF for me. Would want both at some point, just need to work out which to start and which to trade in later. Both have pretty good draws to start the season.

Had Rankine last year, gun love watching him. He doesn't play full seasons though.

I reckon Kerch will seagull with Daniel. Roos midfield is strong once the main core is together. LDU, Wardlaw and Sheez will be the main 3, then there's Parker, Simpkin and Powell who will get time in there.

Must be last week. Daniel was in the rehab group doing run throughs. Back next week by reports.
