I’m not as sold on Ashcroft as others. If you’re picking him at $440k you’d want him to be a keeper.English v TDK

Thank you friendI’m not as sold on Ashcroft as others. If you’re picking him at $440k you’d want him to be a keeper.
Is he going to be a top 15-20 mid? Or an expensive stepping stone type?
Has an early bye as well, like Stewart, who I would 100% be starting if not for the early bye situation.
I’m going to say:
English due to the Pittonet factor
Clarry for the ceiling and higher potential to average more than Ashcroft if he stays clean and focused (and drops a few kegs) and Ashcroft has an early bye.
And toss a coin between Stew and NWM.
If byes are a factor then NAS, if not, Stewart has a proven track record (although he shit me to tears last season when I brought him in)
English. Had a poor year with no pre-season last year and TDK will compete with Pittonet.English v TDK

Gut feel.Any particular reason?
The eye-test?
Gut feel?
Or more attention?Gut feel.
I think Travaglia coming in to play half back will push Sinclair to midfield. More points for NWM hopefully
Nic Martin is training with the midfield group in PS .....likely WING role maybe ?Jordan Clark

Bulk kick outs for NWM if Sinclair moves into the middle? Felt he’d run from everywhere (Sinclair) for a kick out last season.NWM for me
Everyone jumping on Serong must not remember his position move in the last half of games because the brayshaw, serong, young midfield was just not working. With addition to Bolton will he be back to the main midfield rotation or will he be still be playing stints in the forward line? His Scoring dropped off after the bye with only 1 120+ score and a fair few 80-90 scores. Similar happened to Dangerfield. Spent more time forward which capped his scoring potential from a 130+ to 100+Another:
