Seems to have been universally hated. If there's not something meaningful for the winner they won't care.

Just drop it. Name a east and west team of the year at the end of the season.

I don't mind too much if it just folds or whatever but the All star really does show the NBA players who throw out the 'i do it for the fans' lines as nothing more than just a good PR attempt.

They claim they play every night for the fans because they might only get to see them once blah blah blah but can't be arsed even putting the tiniest bit of effort in to the All star game which is literally a game for the fans.

I don't mind if they don't care, but give it a rest with the patting yourself on the back for playing games which is literally just doing the job they get paid to do.

Sounds like most of the media and Draymond did not like the all star format, I’ve given up on this event as no one cares about trying anymore.

For those that watched it, what did you think about it? Or should it go back to east vs west?

If the players dont want it, scrap the whole event. Maybe then it will then wet their appetite in years to come.

its like the state of origin game. somehow sometime players dont wanna play in the threat of injury. But seriously in basketball whats the chance of sustaining an injury especially the A.S game?
