Hogan might be the only example I can think of but even then we were anticipating him wanting to leave anyway.

Point is I can't see Freo pushing out guys like Serong or Treacy to get these deals over the line.

Could also seeing us holding onto Pickett if we're not happy with their offer.

I don't feel like these days stars are traded directly for stars. It's usually good player for some picks, or picks and a fringe player

Or at least not in a direct swap anyway, if they do it's more likely to be done adding in other clubs to the mix

This is why the Warner/Koz talk is yet another example of how s* the modern media is. It's all over media outlets, but how exactly can Freo possibly pull it off without a star player leaving? Maybe a Brayshaw is happy to leave, but i doubt it when the club is on the cusp. They simply don't have the picks to get both over the line. I dare say Koz will stay or maybe WCE throw their hat in the ring if he really wants to head back over there desperately. I'll be shocked if Freo end up nabbing both players. It's like the whole talk of Trac to Pies. Was never going to happen but it was all over media for weeks. Footy media is at an all time low.
