Yes, see post #2543 on the previous page.According to Caruso we are picking up Josiah Delana in the rookie draft
Lol, missed thatYes, see post #2543 on the previous page.
I make no assumptions about the correctness of either of those sources. On edge cases like this they're wrong more often than they're right.I've seen some club lists (numbers not names) on other boards quoting footywire or zerohanger sources that GWS is showing 1 Cat B and 2 Cat A (no names). That indicates that we've already moved someone from B to A. I presume that Madden would be the most likely (rather than Wardius).
Briggs is a WS boy isn’t he?As noted earlier we prelisted Josaia Delana as a rookie so nice to still have a guy from western Sydney after losing Peatling.
Sure is - Pennant HillsBriggs is a WS boy isn’t he?
Hopefully when he does come through and makes it he sticks around…..Delana has potential to become a bit of a cult hero if he can make the grade. Comes from a big Fijian family (with a quite a few of them coming through younger age groups in the boys and girls academy programs).
Pennant hills is the club he played for - he grew up (and maybe still lives) in Carlingford, a suburb of Parramatta which is very definitely in Western Sydney

I like this approach.
That is who we think is the best player for us. It's who we want, so pick him.
The idea is to build the list you want, not win the draft.
Every year we here of someone like Dodorro winning the trades and getting away with murder in draft night , but didn't win a final in his time.

I think Jones will move up on to one of the wings which will open up a spot for gothardThat's because dodoro had mates in the media constantly flying his flag, no bigger than Mick Ablett who tried to stick the boots into Essendon's new recruiter on draft night. The new guy did a superb job and the fans are wrapped, but dodoro's mates definitely tried to make it difficult for him. I don't even think dodoro knew how the points system worked going off his recent history.
This looks good, I'm only worried about midfield depth coz some of those players are ageing. Hopefully another forward can go in there and have an impact like snooze did this year, then fill their small forward position with one of the breadth of options for that position. Otherwise it's really down to Rowston and leake who we basically haven't seen at senior level yet, so it's hard to rely on them in a final. I do wonder if Callum Brown could play a wing role, he has all the athletic attributes to do so, but whether he has the game knowledge is the question. I'd also like to see aleer surpass himmelberg for that third back role, himmelberg's finals series was terrible, but he's on a massive contract now so unlikely he'd be squeezed out.
