Yep. Dagless and myself got screwed over with dead cap on surprise retirements of Andrew Luck and Doug Baldwin in the past after just giving them new deals.

Yes. No cap exemptions for retired or deceased players

You can re-sign unlimited rookies, but vets, only max 2, and one that can be tagged. So youll have billions of dollars or cap space but itll also be tough deciding which vets to let go thru the auction

Tag 1 (vet only) max

Note...
Doesnt have to be 3 and 1...could be 1 and 1, or 2 and 0, or all zero. Just max 3 and max 1 tag (vet)
