The Texas Rangers have put RHP Dane Dunning on outright waivers, but have not designated him for assignment. Accordingly, Dunning remains with the team and will continue to play in games until the waiver process has been completed. Rival clubs have 48 hours to claim Dunning off waivers, but would inherit the entirety of the $2.66 million salary agreed by the Rangers with Dunning.
