2021 VFLW season

Today it was announced the 2021 VFLW season will begin in early February. it will be in line with AFLW And NAB League Girls seasons.

Port Melbourne will be in the league for first time taking over the license given back by Richmond

Members of Port were advised about a week ago about our Womens team joining the VFLW. We learned today that we've entered into a partnership with them, but the club will retain Ports name, colours and ground, and gain access to Richmonds listed players.

Good to see Port and St. Mary's Salesian have an alignment with their women's programs

Interesting comment on the most recent VFLW news update on the AFL website:
"Crowds are permitted at all VFLW matches this weekend. Spectators are allowed to enter the field of play at any stage."

So they are quite happy for anyone to just wander onto the field whilst a match is in progress?
