Hmm abit strange, what do the St Kilda faithful think about this?
7000+ members down on last year isn't good.

North currently on: 17953
20k+ by the end of January is looking more likely.

I suspect they'll be above the 14k figure now and just haven't updated their site.

well above that- that tally was pre christmas-
now nearer 19,000
and Saints memberships were about 1 month later than others getting out and some stilll to come out due to changes needed due to staff changes

where as Melbourne and Hawthorn had theirs open before the season ended.

How do Gold Coast's membership numbers compare to last year?

They got 14,064 last year according to the wiki but had an average home crowd of 21,871 so there is scope for improvement.

Be interesting to see how GWS/Sydney and Bris/GC do compare to their RL counter parts in the same area. GWS could beat a few of the western nsw teams in terms of crowds and membership but wont know till the seasons over.

GC u'd think will be the biggest team there and comfortably beat the flailing titans.

Brisbane will lose to the broncos no doubt but beat most RL teams. Not sure how sydney will do

Given that the Penrith Panthers just recently made a bit of a song and dance about signing Brad Fittler as their 3000th member, it's not a bad effort.

that'd be 3000th ... Ticketed for the Panthers

they were at 3200 overall ..... 6 weeks ago
they'd be well ahead of GWS

;)

What a powerhouse :p Congrats!

LOL.. a powerhouse ?

its half of the 17th placed club for memberships the Suns
& barely 1/4 of the 16th club the Lions

I'm thinking just at this point in time , this may be the lowest total for any club in either code
