Discussion around expansion lingers with the introduction of the Ophidian Old Boys this season but there is another option to return the league to an even number of teams – contraction! Let’s take a look at some of the options we could see if the league were to combine two teams together instead of adding one.


Coney Island Phoenix​

The iconic Luna Park was been a family favourite in Docklands for generations but the once proud theme park succumbed to fire one day when former captain and Warriors legend, Wosh, was knitting a jumper and the static electricity generated ignited a fuel leak nearby, igniting a generator and spreading quickly throughout the park. Thankfully no one was injured but witnesses reported seeing an unknown bird that had caught alight flying off into the distance.

East Side Warriors​

These are skilled fighters from eastern Sweet, presumably seafaring types given the coastal region and their home ground being an island. There’s not a lot to work with here so you’ll have to be imaginative. Just know that @Agent93’s skillset is very much out of place in this side.

Hogwarts Whores​

The Second Wizarding War was a torrid time for wizards everywhere but many tales of heroism have been told about the defeat of Lord Voldemort. Everyone knows about the likes of Harry Potter, Hermoine Granger and Ron Weasley among others but a little known group of promiscuous witches was pivotal to the success of the Order of the Phoenix, procuring ingredients from the famous Whore Tree for use in potions that would be used by Dumbledore’s Army to defeat the Deatheaters.
